In March 2026, Mitsubishi Electric completed the transfer of equity in the joint venture with Hitachi for household elevators. It took full ownership of the company and renamed it Mitsubishi Electric Household Elevator Co., Ltd., simultaneously launching a new logo. The company will focus on the research and manufacturing of residential elevators, and the original customer service and rights will remain unaffected.
