Recent Product And Market Strategy Dynamics Of Rockwell Automation (AB)

Apr 10, 2026

In early April 2026, the global industrial automation giant AB (Rockwell Automation) released a series of significant updates, focusing on product upgrades, market adjustments, and strategic planning. Starting from this month, due to fluctuations in global supply chains, rising energy and raw material costs, AB announced adjustments to the prices of its entire range of industrial control products. The price adjustments cover core categories such as PLCs, frequency converters, and servo systems, aiming to ensure stable product supply and service quality.
In terms of technological innovation, AB has newly launched the Allen-Bradley 450L GuardShield safety beam. It adopts a single-rod transmitting-receiving integrated patent technology, combined with a laser alignment system and DIP switches, which can simplify equipment protection, reduce spare parts inventory, and be suitable for medium to high-risk industrial scenarios, enhancing production safety and efficiency.

Meanwhile, on April 1st, the company completed the dissolution of the joint venture with Schlumberger's Sensia. Both parties recovered their respective business segments and will independently focus on the energy automation field. Additionally, AB continues to advance its digitalization strategy, leveraging FactoryTalk Hub and Fiix systems to deepen industrial cloud and intelligent operation services, helping the manufacturing industry achieve digital transformation and firmly maintaining its leading position in the global industrial control market.
